Patrick is a software engineer and CTO with a breadth of experience in crypto, startups at consulting. Within Randamu, he works on all levels of the stack: keeping the essential production systems running, integrating drand randomness into new ecosystems, shipping libraries for timelock encryption, and developing user interfaces that are intuitive and easy-to-use. Prior to incubating Randamu within Protocol Labs, he worked in R&D at SICPA, developing bleeding edge solutions at the intersection of digital currency and self-sovereign identity.

With experience in consulting and financial services (both retail and investment side), Patrick leads and inspires teams with a calm and jovial demeanor, ensuring they work cohesively towards their goals. His strategic vision and forward-thinking approach have played a pivotal role in transforming startups into successful enterprises.

He balances usability with a delivery-driven mindset, ensuring his teams achieve key outcomes by creating user-friendly products without compromising on timely project delivery.
